A 24-year-old man was detained by police for allegedly disturbing peace and tranquility in Boy’s Hostel of RNT Medical College.

As per the police, Harikesh Meena was under the influence of alcohol and was acting like a nuisance in the Boy’s hostel of RNT Medical College and was detained under Section 151 of CrPC.

However, as per the version received from students, they caught Meena while he was allegedly stealing clothes hanging outside the hostel rooms. Students also allege that the same man was caught a few days back too but no further action was taken and he was set free after giving him a warning.

The accused was handed over to police post inside hospital.
