Goverdhan Vilas police arrested four medical students for hooliganism in a restaurant late night yesterday. The students were arrested for allegedly beating up a restaurant owner and for damaging the restaurant property.

Incident relates to 1:30pm last night. Medical students reached a restaurant in Goverdhan Vilas area and order for food. Since it was very late, the restaurant workers expressed their inability to serve food. This enraged the students and they started misbehaving. The workers immediately called the restaurant owner but students got into a heated argument with him as well.

The students left the place only to come back at 2:00pm. They started damaging the restaurant property and even hit the restaurant owner who got bruised on head and nose. Students were apparently highly drunk at that moment.

The police reached the spot on information and got hold of 4 students. Rest got into car and sped away. Police is on a lookout for rest of the students.

The restaurant owner has lodged an FIR against over a dozen students.
