Dungarpur : A 16 year old girl of Dungarpur district studing in  Class 10 had registered a complaint against one of her classmate alleging him for rape on Thursday.

A case has been registered under section 3/4 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act and section 341,323,376 of Indian Penal Code has been registered and an investigation had been launched, said Deputy Sp Rameshwar Lal Chouhan.

According to the report of the victim girl the incident occurred on 6th June when she was returning back to her house from the market after purchasing few grocery items, on the midway one of her class mate met her who started talking to her and took her to an isolated place in the nearby forest. According to the victim's report he raped her and fled the scene leaving her on the spot. She somehow reached her house and narrated her ordeal to her parents who later registered a complaint at the police station on Wednesday night, said Rameshwar Lal Chouhan.

However a case has been registered and statement of the victim girl had also been recorded, Chouhan added.

In yet another similar incident a 17 year old girl hailing from Bhichiwara area of Dungarpur was being raped by her own father on 29th May while she was returning back to her house along with the accused father after attending a wedding ceremony.The accused raped the victim  on the midway at an isolated place and fled away.

The matter came to light with the mother of the victim girl has registered a case against her husband at the Bichiwara police station, following that an investigation has launched and also a man hunt had been launched by thr police to arrest the accused father.

Notably this is the 3rd such incident of minor girl's rape at Dungarpur district as in another incident that was reported to the police on 31st May the Principal of a Government school had been arrested by the police and booked under sections of POCSO Act and Indian Penal Code after he had raped as many as 6 minor girls of the same school on different occasions

The parents of the minor girls in their report to the police alleged that the accused had called their minor daughters to school even during the summer vacations on the pretext of playing in the school and raped them. In their report they also claimed that the accused took the victim girls to one of his bewly contructed house and tapes them there also.
