Family members of a minor girl who has been missing since last 1.5 months knocked the doors of SP Rajendra Goyal yesterday. Family members had filed an FIR long back but given no police support, they were forced to knock the doors of SP.

The matter refers to Khempura village falling under Pratapnagar Police Station area. Family members, resident of Khempura, said that their minor girl was picked up by one Devraj Harijan about a month and a half back. On this, the family members lodged an FIR with police.

On one hand the police was unable to trace the culprit. On the other hand, the culprit was calling up the family members regularly and abusing them with foul language. This showed that the culprit was clearly emboldened by the laxity of police and hence demonstrated fearless behavior.

The family has now approached SP’s office with the hope of getting justice and also their daughter back.
