The 2-year-old girl Akshara who mysteriously went missing on Friday evening was found dead in a well today morning. The well is located just 200 meters away from the victim’s house.

Akshara, daughter of Ram Singh and granddaughter of up-Sarpanch Bhairo Singh Rajput went missing on the afternoon of Friday 17^th Oct. The report was lodged by her parents in the evening when they failed to locate the child by their own.

All top police officials including S.P Ajaypal Singh Lamba, Ad S.P Goverdhan Lal Khatik rushed to Sakroda. An additional team of MBC was called to tackle any unwanted situation. The search operation was conducted till midnight with the help of dog squad but the child was not found.

Prima Facie police doubted it as a case of kidnapping due to possible hostility between the suspected accused and Akshara’s father Ram Singh and not for any ransom. As per source, police has also detained a man who had past issues with Ram Singh.

Police is also searching for two suspected motorcyclists as few people of the village saw them going with a child but it is not confirmed if the child they saw was Akshara.

Today morning, during search operation, body of girl child was found in a well which is situated in a remote area. Police said that it was not possible for a 2-year-old child to walk alone and reach this area.

Body of the child has been brought to MB Hospital Mortuary and investigation has been intensified to bring the culprits to book.
