In a shocking incident today, a resident of Dholi Bavdi, Shahzad Ali (in photo above), who was reported missing from the last 3 days was found dead on a railway track opposite the Police Lines today at 1:30 in the afternoon.

Ali (32) was identified by his clothes and a Kadha (Bangle) he was wearing.

Ahmed Ali, Shahzad’s eldest brother informed us that he used work in a Car Décor Shop. According to Ahmed, Shahzad was allegedly murdered by someone and was left behind on the railway track.

According to a Police official, Shahzad was carrying 2 mobiles, had 4 rings and a silver locket with him, which are now missing. The Police also suspects that Shahzad has been dead for the last 48 hours and is investigating the case now.

An FIR has been lodged at the Surajpol Police Station. The dead body has been taken to a mortuary and a postmortem by the Police will also be conducted tomorrow.
