Attempt to escape by jumping from the 3rd floor proved to be extremely disappointing for a most wanted criminal. Broken bones landed him into the clutches of police.  Papla aka Vikram Gurjar, the most wanted criminal has finally been arrested by Rajasthan police.

Papla, the most wanted criminal was arrested from Kolhapur in Maharashtra on late Wednesday night. With an award of 5 lakh rupees on his head, Papla was wanted since September 2019 after his accomplices did several rounds of firing with AK-47 rifles at Behror police station on 6th September and helped him escape. It may be noted that Papla had once escaped in 2017 while he was in custody of Harayana police. He was then arrested on 5th September 2019 with 32 lakh rupees in his possession and was taken to Behror police station.

Vikram Gurjar “Papla” was living with his girlfriend in Kolhapur. His girlfriend is a gym trainer. Police was aware that Papla was a fitness freak and they got clues about his girlfriend being a gym trainer. A Special-26 team of police took a good look of the girlfriend’s house and gym under the disguise of tenant, student or as gym member. By 25th January police when police was certain that Papla was in the same house, they planned their operation for nabbing this master mind.

By the time the operation started and the police teams gathered around the house by 2 a.m, the local people got up and misunderstanding the police as dacoits, they started pelting stones at police teams. The teams somehow managed to take control of the public and some of the jawans went to the 3rd floor of the building where Papla was hiding.

Upon seeing the police teams, Papla first took his own girlfriend as hostage and threatened to kill her. When police did not move away, Papla made an attempt to escape by jumping from the 3rd floor. He rushed to the backside of the third floor and jumped down where the special team was prepared to nab him. He broke his leg and could not escape and was immediately arrested by the police.
