Motilal Dangi's Attackers Nabbed in Gujarat, sent to 9 Days Remand
Three persons, suspected as the attackers who fired gun shots at BJP leader Motilal Dangi have been nabbed by the Gujarat Police from Ahmedabad yesterday on 28th June and brought to Udaipur today morning by the Udaipur Police and presented before court. The three accused were sent to Police remand till 7th July.

The suspects, all residents of Udaipur are Imranuddin (22) s/o Iqbaluddin Sindhi, resident of Mukherjee Chowk; Zaheer Ahmed (27) s/o Qadeer Ahmed Qureshi, resident of Raza Colony and Shehzad Ahmed alias Chini s/o Ghaffar Ahmed resident of Payda, Dharmraj colony.
The Police is still looking for further 2-3 suspected people involved in the day light firing at Motilal Dangi on 15th June.
“In the initial interrogation, the suspects have coughed out the name of one Ayub Shah as the prime conspirator for the crime”, said Hariprasad Sharma S.P Udaipur.
In the interrogation they told police that he (Ayub Shah) had hired them to attack Dangi over a property issue.
Hariprasad Sharma S.P. told media, “after committing the crime, all attackers fled away from the city and went to Ajmer where they stayed for few days before leaving for Jaipur and from there they went to Ahmadabad. The Ahmadabad police got the information and they arrested all three.”
Sources also confirmed the name of Azam as the mastermind in this attack as he has faced financial loss in property business. “Azam had his eyes on a land worth crores of rupees but Motilal Dangi bought it, which annoyed Azam”, said an undisclosed source.
Now, the police is trying to find out any previous criminal cases lodged against all the arrested people in this case.
Both Ayub Shah and Azam are absconding.
