As the festive season is approaching near, the notorious chain snatchers once again are active after series of incidents were reported in last few days. Another chain snatching incident took place on Tuesday evening at Paras Circle where a 50-year-old woman was targeted by two men.

The victim Saroj Juniwal, resident of sector 8 was returning home from her job. Juniwal is working as an LDC at government department situated at Patel Circle.

While heading towards home, Juniwal stopped to buy vegetables. Suddenly, two men on a motorcycle snatched her gold chain weighing 2.5 tolas and fled away.

The victim immediately informed police about the mishap. Police has lodged massive manhunt but the accused men are still at large.
