Mumbai couple held trying to sell 4-month son | Udaipur orphanage involved
Thane police arrested a married couple in Mumbai who were trying to sell their four-month old boy for Rs 6 Lakh. Representative from Udaipur based orphanage was also arrested.
Thane police arrested a married couple in Mumbai who were trying to sell their four-month old boy for Rs 6 Lakh. Representative from Udaipur based orphanage was also arrested.
The arrested duo already had a son and daughter and were trying to sell their third child to a woman representative of Udaipur based orphanage, Radhika Child Care.
Police caught the duo along with representative from the orphanage after laying a trap at a restaurant in Mira-Bhayandar area.
Police said that the couple had got in touch with a woman who works for Radhika Child Care in Udaipur and they wanted to sell their baby to the needy person.
Mira Road Police is investigating the matter and have booked the duo under various section.
