In an incident that reportedly occurred after midnight of 20^th June, two cars parked near Hotel Damanis, near Chetak Circle have been found with thrashed windows, and the music system, etc. stolen. Both the cars were owned by the Hotel’s owner Vineet Damani (in photo above). The Hathipol Police has lodged the complain and started their investigation.

According to hotel employees the cars, Tata Indica and Suzuki Swift were un-tampered till 11pm, but today morning at seven, when they checked the vehicles, the front gate windows of both were wrecked and music systems worth Rs.24000, Air Blowers and AC panels were found missing.

The theft was allegedly executed by known personnel, as the miscreants did not try opening the gates of the cars, so as to avoid any danger signals. Both the cars were equipped with AutoCop systems.
