A talented innovator, Ashish Khatri, who made Udaipur proud by his invention of Banana Tree Peeling Machine is now undergoing miserable plight and has been forced to take unconventional ways to express his problems.

Winner of Meritorious Invention Award under Budding Innovator Award (2010), Ashish was also honored by former president APJ Abdul Kalam in year 2006.

After successfully starting the business of producing pulp from Banana tree in 2013, Ashish is now literally on the road and is alleging that his Technology Patent has wrongly been confiscated by his former business partners.

The patent which is valid in 135 countries was issued by Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

A proud recipient, Ashish, was seen sitting on the roadside with his awards and recognitions open folded. Ashish alleged that his former business partners wrongly seized his patent and even after lodging police report and being directed by the police officers, the ex-colleagues are not returning his patent.

Ashish also alleged that he was financially cheated by his colleagues that resulted in grave disturbance in his family. Ashish has appealed to the District Collector to provide him justice.
