In a rather ugly incident reported yesterday, a female Jr. Enng. Of Nagar Nigam, Khushbu Joshi alleged that an accused tried to held her hostage.

As per the report, Khushbu Joshi was sent by the Mayor to prepare spot analysis of a house under the scanner for illegal construction. Khushu reached the scene with her co-worker Apurva, Jr. Engg.

While Khushbu was clicking pictures of the construction, the owner came out and protested. Meanwhile the owner’s son Om Prakash reached the scene and tried to lock the main entrance gate from the inside.

Witnessing Omprakash’s move, Khushbu escaped from the scene with her fellow colleague and called the Mayor. A team from Nigam along with Ambamata Police Station also reached the scene.

Both the officers were brought under protection to the office, where Khushbu gave a written complaint of the inclident.

Khushbu also alleged that owner’s son also tried to snatch her handbag from the vehicle while trying to put a stack of money in it.  After both the engineers escaped from the house, the accused kept the stack of money in her vehicle and clicked photos
