Day light firing seem to have become common place in Udaipur with yet another firing incident reported today evening. The firing took place at Nehru Bazaar (lane behind Bapu Bazaar).

The firing took place at Nehru Bazaar today. Two masked men fired at property dealer and history sheeter Kannu Kumawat. The bullet stuck Kannu in his hand. Kannu was rushed to MB hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile the crowd in the area managed to nab one of the assailants while the other managed to flee. The crowd held on to the assailant till Surajpole Police station team reached the spot. The police then arrested the assailant and took him to Police station for further investigation.

While investigations are at preliminary phase, business rivalry is being speculated as the reason behind the attack. Kannu on the other hand said that he had no rivalry against anyone. Police is currently investigating the matter.
