Ambamata Police has managed to arrest one of Udaipur’s top 10 most wanted criminal, Chandan Kotda, along with his accomplice. Chandan carried a prize money of Rs 2000 on him.

Shailendra Singh, IPS (Trainee) of Ambamata Police Station informed that they had received a tip-off from an informer at 8pm last night that Chandan Kotda was spotted at the Thoor Bus stand along with some weapon. Taking cognizance of the informer’s tip-off, a team from Ambamata Police Station rushed to the spot.

Chandan and his accomplice, Jaswant were spotted and stopped at Thoor Madar road. Police then carried out complete check of the two and recovered two weapons and 7 live cartridges from them. The two were arrested as per proper legal process.

Shailendra further informed that Chetan has been wanted by different police stations in cases of attempt to murder, liquor smuggling, robbery, carrying illegal weapons and others. He is also a history sheeter from Kotra Police Station.
