Partner accused of Duping Rs. 17 lacs from Businessman

A case was lodged at the Hathipol Police station today, where a businessman accused his counterpart to an agreement of duping him off Rs. 17 lac.

 

A case was lodged at the Hathipol Police station today, where a businessman accused his counterpart to an agreement of duping him off Rs. 17 lac.

According to the Police, Bhawin Kumar had entered into an agreement with Sunil Kumar, where Sunil Kumar was to bring him clients in lieu of receiving certain funds from Bhawin Kumar.  Bhawin alleges that Sunil duped him off Rs. 17 lac over a period of time, and did not keep his part of the agreement, that f bringing him clients.

The agreement was entered into between Bhawin and Sunil on 8th June, 2011.  Sunil was given Rs. 2.5 lac from Bhawin the same day, and was supposed to bring Bhawin clients for his business. Sunil took the next installment from Bhawin on 3rd September 2011 after the initial signing amount of Rs. 2.5 lac.  However, Sunil kept on asking money on one pretext or the other. 

Bhawin gave him the amount every time, but his suspicion rose over time.  Today he took a call and lodged a case against Sunil at the Hathipol Police Station.

Bhawin Kumar lives at Vinayak Complex, Durga Naursery Road and operates his business from an office in same building; whereas Sunil Arora operates his business from the Air Palace Building at Delhi Gate.

The police have registered the case and are looking into the allegations.
