In a freak incident today afternoon, a patient in a local hospital at Udaipur committed suicide by jumping off the fifth floor.  He crash landed on his head and died on the spot.

The hospital identified the deceased as 42 year old Harish Ameta, resident of Semari village in Udaipur.  The hospital is located at Hiran Magri Sector 3. The deceased was admitted to the hospital on 18 April and was a teacher in a government school.

Police have sent the body to the mortuary and are investigating the cause of the suicide.  As per the hospital, the patient has been dealing with psychological difficulties for over 25 years now.
