A condition of communal strife might have sparked in Udaipur on the eve of Holi when group of people clashed over an unknown issue. On March 19, the situation turned tense when four people from Kalkamata Road near Payeda had heated argument which turned into a serious fight. Soon, many people from both the communities gathered at the place. Before it could go worse, police reached the spot and made the situation under control. Seeing the seriousness of the matter Alok Vashisht SP Udaipur and other officers including Satish Kumar SHO Pratapnagar Police Station also reached the spot with heavy police force. Four people from both communities have been arrested and case under IPC 394/34 has been registered against them, investigation is still on.
