Pick-Pocketers nabbed by Udaipur Police

Udaipur Police got a major breakthrough in the ‘Pick-Pocketing Case Racket’ under which Rs. 25,000 was looted from Shankar Lal Meena, resident of Kheroda on 3rd June, 2012.

 

Udaipur Police got a major breakthrough in the ‘Pick-Pocketing in Auto Rickshaw’ under which Rs. 25,000 was looted from Shankar Lal Meena, resident of Kheroda on 3rd June, 2012.

Deepak Meena, Co-Worker, resident of Mulla Talai and Kanhya Lal Mogya, Driver of the Auto-Rickshaw were found accused by the Police as per the investigation conducted by a special team of officers including Sobhagya Singh.  This special squad was formed by the SP on 3rd June, 2012 and was instructed to be in civil dress and investigate the case.

Recently, Police got the lead that the auto-rickshaw, which was identified of the ‘Vikram’ make was owned and run by Kanhya Lal Meena and Deepak Meena. The number of the auto-rickshaw was logged as RJ-27-TA-3722.

“With the same leads, police detained Deepak Meena who then accepted more such thefts and pick-pocketing under the direction of Kanhya Lal Mogya.  Kanhya Lal is on the run right now,” informed Abhay Nath, Investigating Officer.

“We went to Rampura, Kodiyat after the theft (of 3rd June, 2012) and there Kanhaya Lal divided the amount where He gave me Rs. 15,000 and Kanhya kept the rest Rs. 17,000”, said Deepak in his interrogation.

Surprisingly, Deepak Meena got bail today in the same case.

Abhay Nath informed that, the search is still on and vigil as we are looking for Kanhya Lal Mogya.
