-Blade cuts were observed on the pockets. Delhi police was informed about the issue.

-A victim hailing from Udaipur reported the incident. 

Passengers travelling in Chetak Express train became the target of pickpocketers somewhere between Gurugram and Delhi cantt. The passengers were asleep during this time and that is the reason why none came to know that they were being robbed.

A person from Udaipur also lost a lot of valuables in this incident. He informed that he works in Delhi and had come home in Udaipur due to some unavoidable circumstances. 4 others in the train Chetak Express became victims of pickpocketing.

On his way back to Delhi, when the train had reached somewhere between Gurugram and Delhi, people started shouting as they all found that someone had picked their pockets. A woman’s handbag was also taken. Most of the people had blade cuts on their pockets which made them realise what had happened while they were asleep.

The passenger from Udaipur said that he was carrying 2000 rupees, ATM card, driving license, Adhar card and some insurance papers in his wallet. A man’s laptop was also taken by the miscreants. Since the train slows down at Delhi, miscreants get a good opportunity to get inside the train. Passengers are usually asleep during the morning hours, hence no one witnessed the incident happening.
