Police make headway in Shankar Dangi Murder case

Adding to its kitty of results in the Shankar Dangi (s/o Meghraj Dangi) murder case, the Police have arrested another accused, Ramesh s/o Nathu Lal Dangi from Dabok, Udaipur.

 

Adding to its kitty of results in the Shankar Dangi murder case, the Police have arrested another accused, Ramesh s/o Nathu Lal Dangi from Dabok, Udaipur.

“The name of Ramesh came up during the interrogation of the prime suspects of the murder.  The Police traced and caught Ramesh this evening”, informed the Police.

Shankar Lal Dangi was murdered on 19th July, 2012 following which Bharat, Jagdish and Praveen were arrested as the prime suspects in the case.

Police also informed that during interrogation yesterday, suspects also revealed about the weapon used in the crime and the clothes they were wearing on the scene of crime ” they were hiding all that at their place in Lakhawali” said an officer investigating the case.

The police is still probing deeper to seek other invisible angles to the case.

UPDATE: Bharat, Jagdish and Praveen were sent to Judicial Custody today by the court and Ramesh is now under remand for 3 days as the vehicle used in the crime and clothes of Ramesh is yet to be found by the Police. The case is under Sukher Police Station.
