Police Settles dispute over Temple Land for Garba

A temple at Khempura Choraha came under dispute today when two groups of people argued over the alleged encroachment in the temple compound. Pratap Nagar Police have lodged the complaint and identified the suspected troublemakers. Officials of the Municipal Council also visited the place to inspect.

According to sources, a local group of youth that organizes Garba on Navratri at a temple compound complained to the Municipal Council for alleged encroachment by temple administration.

The temple of Charbhuja Nath Ji is managed by Dangi community of the area. The Dangi community members blame that the Garba organizers, under the pretext of Navratri involve in anti social activities.

Council’s Flying Squad with Officer M.L. Samar reached the temple and inquired about the dispute; Bhanwar Singh Ranawat (SHO) Pratapnagar Police Station also reached the spot.
