A private bus filled with passengers was ransacked by a group of people that belonged to a rival bus agency at Udiapole at 2.45PM. An FIR has been lodged against four identified people for allegedly damaging the bus and looting the driver and his helper.

A private bus filled with passengers was ransacked by a group of people that belonged to a rival bus agency at Udiapole at 2.45PM.  An FIR has been lodged against four identified people for allegedly damaging the bus and looting the driver and his helper.

According to sources, “15-20 individuals came and started smashing the bus of Tiger Travels.  They forced passengers to walk-out of the bus and shattered the windows and windshield”.

“They even snatched Rs. 4000 and our mobiles”, says Ramesh Mali, Helper and Shrawan Kumar, Driver.

Jitendra Singh, Narpal Singh, Kshetrapal Singh and Rajendra Singh along with 15-20 others were identified as the attackers.

According to Police, “Sanwariya Travels and Tiger Travels are in a prolonged dispute regarding the schedule of their bus routes from Udaipur to Sojat, as they provide bus service at the same time which collides with each other”.

No casualties have been reported and the case is registered at Surajpol Police Station.
