The reasons behind the professor's suicide were not known at the time of the news being published. 

A 45 year old professor committed suicide by jumping into Fathesagar Lake today morning. Reasons behind the suicide are yet unknown. 

As per information received, the professor left his residence on Thursday night following an argument at home. After this he did not return home. It was also his birthday yesterday. 

Since the professor did not return home, his family began searching for him but in vain. On Friday morning his wallet and other belongings were found at the Devali end of Fatehsagar Lake. The family was informed immediately. The family and other acquaintances gathered at the lakeside. 

The divers began their search in the morning and by afternoon they could get the body out of the lake. The body of the professor has been sent to the MB Hospital mortuary. The other family members have also reached Udaipur from Kota.
