Special Task Force and Goverdhan police station arrested 2 property dealers with two illegal weapons in their possession. The accused were arrested in Savina after a car chase. 

SP Ajaypal Lamba informed that the two accused property dealers namely Ahmed Hussain of Murshid Nagar and Mohammad Javed Hussain alias Jugnu of Khanjipeer were arrested with surprising 4 pistols, 4 revolvers and 17 live bullets in which 10 cartridge were of 9 mm kept at one of the accused’s home.

Suspects handicraft traders Siyad Mohammad alias Jugnu and Bhagwat Singh alias Bunty will also be investigated in this matter.

Police informed that the accused were in constant touch with the criminals and used the illegal weapons to possess the disputed lands for their brokerage business.

Both the accused had charges of assault previously and are under interrogation.
