Carrying out a cleanliness drive of a different sort, Pratap Nagar police today busted a prostitution racket running in Udaipur.

As per preliminary information received, the prostitution racket was being carried out in a house in Transport Nagar. Basis a tip-off, Pratap Nagar police reached the spot and nabbed the accused with a neat trap.

Police nabbed 4 people including 3 women in the incident. Though information is still awaited but accused will most likely be booked under PITA (Prevention of Immoral Traffic) Act.

If one looks at a string of prostitution rackets that have been busted in Udaipur in past, a large number of those have been based on the city periphery – Sukher, Goverdhan Vilas and Transport nagar.
