Raffles Hotel Udaipur Employees Arrested

Three staff members of the city's Raffles Hotel were arrested by Udaipur Police after they allegedly attacked the night patrolling team of the Sukher Police Station.

The incident reportedly occurred in the wee hours on Monday when the patrolling team spotted 3 youth sitting at Raghunathpur area of the police station circle and were allegedly consuming drugs. When the police team asked them to leave the place, the trio, instead of listening to them, entered into a hearted argument with the policemen and attacked them. Head Constable Bhupendra Singh and Constable Kamlesh sustained head injuries during the attack, as per Police reports.

The three accused, identified as Gaurav Sanhotra of Delhi, Keith Sikvera of Vadodara and Rishabh Yadav of Gaziabad were later arrested and booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.  The three were produced in court on 31 May. The court remanded the three to Police Custody (PC) for two days.  All three work as Supervisors at the Raffles Hotel located in Udaisagar.
