Ranbir Kapoor Booked for Smoking in Public Place

The Udaipur Sessions Court has released an istagasa against film actor Ranbir Kapoor after he was found smoking in a public place during the shooting for ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ at Ghangaur Ghat, Udaipur on March 28. The Udaipur Court has directed the Ghanta Ghar Police to register a bail able offense under the Rajasthan Anti-Smoking Act after the complaint was lodged by one Harish Vaishnav, a local residing in the Ghangaur Ghat area. The Court has also directed the Bollywood actor to present himself in the Udaipur Sessions court on 26 ^thJune 2012.This incident raised a long discussion on Facebook too, where Ranbir Kapoor’s smoking photo was first posted on the social networking site. Later, the local print dailies also published it as breaking news which eventually pressurized the administration to take steps against Kapoor’s social misconduct. The Film crew of ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ has already packed up from location; the crew was in Udaipur during the last month, shooting at different locations.
