A team from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Udaipur has arrested two people today including a Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Kherwada and his personal assistant for demanding a bribe of Rupees Twenty Five Thousand in return of signing a property related document.

RAS officer Mohan Lal Parihar, employed as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Kherwada (West Zone) and his P.A. Arjunlal Meena were detained by the ACB team, when Meena was first arrested with the bribe money followed by Parihar who was arrested from his house at Kherwada. Both are under custody of ACB and will be produced in court most likely on Monday, 11^th June.

According to the ACB, a complaint was lodged on Friday, 8^th June by Laxmilal Meena and his advocate Dinesh Meena that as per the direction of SDM Mohanlal, his PA Arjunlal Meena has demanded 25,000 for legitimizing the partition of a disputed property at Kherwada owned by Laxmilal.

ACB team led by Rajendra Prasad Goyal (ADSP) laid the trap and arrested Arjunlal Meena while he was taking the bribe money. When asked, he said that he was doing this under the direction of SDM Mohanlal Parihar. Both of them have been arrested.

The ACB team comprising of Sunderlal Soni (Sub Inspector), Jitendra Sanadhya (Assistant Sub Inspector), Muneer Khan, Akhtar Khan, Mohan Singh, Bhagwat Singh and Vikram Singh were the protagonists of this operation.
