Pratapnagar police arrested 2 men for making fake liquor in a rented house at village Bichdi. The house was being used as a factory to make fake liquor.

Pratapnagar police raided a house in Bichdi where fake liquor was being made. Equipments, bottle caps and hallmarks have been recovered from the site. The hallmarks were made in Haryana and had signatures of Excise Commissioner Officer.

SP Rajendra Prasad Goyal said that the rented house belonged to Dharmraj Joshi. As per the details given by an informer, police reached the Sakroda-Debari route with under training IPS Deepak Yadav and DYSP Bhagwat Hinger along with police force where they found fake liquor in a house near the canal. Ganesh aka Bunty s/o Bhanwarlal Devasi resident of Gadoli, Mavli and Mahendra aka Mahi resident of Banswara were arrested from the spot.

Both accused were making liquor from spirit in Joshi’s house. 6 drums containing around 60 litres of spirit each, liquor measuring thermometers, colour used in liquor, 2500 caps of Royal Stag Imperial Blue and MacDowell’s, 5000 thousand stickers with Haryana Government print, 150 quarters of fake liquor, 44 quarters of Imperial Blue, 7 bottles of Royal Stag, 6 drums of water, 1 thousand empty quarters, 18 empty cartons, stickers with logo of Royal Stag were recovered. Apart from this, 500 stickers which had “Sale for Haryana” print and also the signatures of Commissioner were also recovered from the spot. Police have taken all stuff in custody. The accused have been arrested under Section 54(A) of Rajasthan Excise Act. In this act, life imprisonment is given to the accused for causing danger to human life through fake liquor. Fake liquor consumption also results in death.
