A case under the IT Act has been registered at Ambamata police station on Wednesday by a restaurant owner against unknown accused for hacking his Restaurant’s Facebook Business Page and for uploading objectionable pictures on it.

Prashant Jain, owner of Ranaji Restaurant lodged an FIR at Amabmata police station after discovering that his Restaurant’s Facebook Business Page has been hacked by someone. He learnt about the mishap in the first week of December when he found that he lost all his access on his page and could not post anything new. He immediately informed police officials about the incident, Prashant informed.
Prashant lodged an FIR yesterday and also informed that his page has nearly 61,000 likes. Police said that the matter has been registered and its investigation is going on.
