A lady has lodged a complaint with Sukher Police station about Rs 500000 bein stolen from her purse yesterday morning.

The complainant, Sunita Arora, is a resident of Silver Heights, Bhuwana. She had gone out for shopping for her daughter’s wedding. She took a private auto from outside Celebration Mall at around 10:30am. Though she had hired the auto as private, 2 other females joined her at RK Circle under the pretext of getting down at the next turn. The 2 ladies however did not get down till Maldas street.

Sunita said that the auto driver also did not take her directly to Maldas street. He took her to Maldas street via Ghantaghar, Badabazaar. After she got down and made payment, the auto driver immediately sped off.

When Sunita got into a shop to buy stuff, she realized that money was missing from her purse. Also, a mini-purse placed inside that had Rs 50,000 was missing. The 2 ladies had very neatly managed to frisk away her belongings without Sunita even noticing.

Sunita has lodged a complaint with Sukher Police station and identified the auto driver and the 2 ladies as potential suspects.
