A case of tax avoidance has been reported at Udaipur Airport by various airlines. The tax has been avoided by non-registration/non-payment of taxes of the various vehicles operated by airlines at the Airport premises.

District RTO officer, Akshay Vishnoi informed that 3 teams carried out inspection of various vehicles operated by the airlines. The teams found 17 vehicles being operated without registration and without payment of commercial tax.

Department is expecting a revenue of Rs 60Lakh from this exercise.
