In a night robbery that took place in Comfort Motors, a bike repair shop located at Delhi Gate, thieves broke in and swiped off Rupees Forty Thousand that were kept in the shops cash box yesterday night of May 12.

As per information given by the Bhupalpura Police station where the complaint was lodged, thieves broke in through the tin partition of an adjoining shop, which is a Wine shop. After taking off a few wine bottles, they entered the adjoining shop, a Computer stockist setup, but could not take anything from there as there we’re some people sleeping in the shop, who woke up after hearing the sounds.

 Then the thieves took to the adjoining shop on the other side of the Wine shop, which was Comfort, and after taking the cash lying in the cash box, fled immediately.

 The enitre incident supposedly occured between 2-2:30am.

 The report was lodged by the owner of Comfort Motors, Aslam, s/o Hamid Khan, resident of Ajanta Lane, Hathipol.

 The police have started the investigation, but the culprits are still at large.
