In a complaint registered at Hiran Magri Police Station, an RSEB official and guard were allegedly beaten by a group in the evening yesterday at RSEB Office, Savina.

According to Police, Manohar Gurjar, resident of Sec-14, Hiran Magri, along with two people came to RSEB Office, Savina where he first scuffled with Sanjay Singh, RSEB Official and then with Lala, a Guard at RSEB Office, Savina.

The group thrashed the phones, furniture and damaged the log sheets kept in the RSEB office.

While conversing with Lala, he informed UT – “The reason of attack possibly is regarding the complaint of a fallen Electricity Pole in Sec-14, because of which the power supply in the area is down.  The complaint has not been solved as yet”.

“The group came-in and started scuffling and damaging the property and were also drunk”, he added.

The case was lodged today morning at Hiran Magri Police Station by Suresh Sharma, Junior Engg., RSEB Office, Savina.
