Six people, all hailing from Ahmedabad, were arrested by Dungarpur police for abusing and altercations with tourists who were on their way to Udaipur.
A complaint was received at the Bichhiwada Police station by Russian tourists, after they were abused and attacked by six people at a hotel on the Bichhiwada – Ratanpur road, where they had stopped for refreshments while on their way to Udaipur. All six, including two women are working for a company in Ahmedabad and they hurled lewd remarks on the tourists, following which an altercation took place, where the two girls beat up the Russian ladies and the boys attacked the guide and driver, after following them when the tourists left the hotel subsequent to being abused.
No major injuries have been reported. The six accused have been taken into custody by the Dungarpur police, said Narendra Singh, the SHO at Bichhiwada Police Station.
