A resident of Saheli Nagar was ambushed in broad day light while she was on her way to the Union Bank at Fatehpura and Rs. 85,000 were loot from her.

Mitali Pahuja, as resident of Saheli Nagar was riding her Activa towards Union Bank, and while she was crossing Orbit  Complex at Fatehpura, a man came running toward her.  Mitali applied the brakes in order to avoid colliding with him.  Simultaneously, another person, waiting nearby on a motorcycle, drove towards her and the first man threw mirch powder into her eyes and snatched her bag from her.  The duo then drove away from the site.  Mitali came home after the incident and reported the matter to the Police.

Incidentally such a case has already happened once earlier, when a lady came out from the Union Bank at Fatehpura after depositing cash, and two men assaulted her and tried to snatch her bag.  Fortunately, the incident was stalled.
