Hathipol Police registered a case of anti-social elements allegedly entering the Government residential quarters of Excise officers, near the Excise Commissioner’s Office, in front of Gumaniya wala Petrol Pump early morning on Wednesday, August 29 and stealing one Sandalwood tree.

According to the Police, Dhana Singh, the guard who was on night duty discovered at 4AM that one of the Sandalwood tree had been cut and stolen. He immediately informed Lala Pradeep Panwar, sweeper, who then informed Police.

The thieves are still unidentified and the Police are looking for them as the case was registered toward evening.
