2 saree shops in Panchwati area was the target of a thief who stole sarees and cash from the shop. Police arrested the thief on Monday. Rakesh Jain registered a complaint of theft with Hathipole police that sarees and cash amounting to more than 4 lakh rupees were stolen from Shree Sarees and Meenakhsi Enterprises in Panchwati.

An informer gave details to police about Yasin Khan who was then arrested in this matter and 21 sarees worth 2.5 lakh rupees and cash more than 2 lakh rupees were recovered from the culprit. There was probably one more person involved in the theft. Police is trying to find more details in this case from the arrested man.
