For the second day running, Udai apartment reported a theft in yet another flat. Police is suspecting the hand of two people who were working there in the theft.

Udai apartment is situated on 100 ft road at New Bhupalpura. As per police, the flat belongs to Raghav Gupta s/o Udai Gupta. He has reported a theft of 35 Tola gold and Rs 26000 cash from his house. Just one day back, another theft was reported from a flat in the same apartment.

Raghav is currently doing his B.Tech from Delhi. The house had been locked for quite a few days. Unidentified thieves broke into his house and made away with gold and cash with total amount running into Lakhs. When his neighbor Jaswant saw the door open, he immediately called up Raghav who came from Delhi to Udaipur. Raghav then lodged a complaint with police.

A couple of days back another theft was reported from the same apartment when house of Shakeel Ahmed s/o Mushtaq Mohammad was broken into. Shakeel had gone to Ajmer on the occasion of Eid. Thieves made away with gold and silver ornaments from his place.

Police has started investigating the CCTV footage in the area. They are suspecting the role of a carpenter and one more person in the incident. The two people were seen coming regularly to the apartment and spending considerable time there. Besides them, no other person was seen coming in the area. Police has arrested the two of them for interrogation and is hoping to solve the case quickly.
