Shoplifting at Shakti Nagar, businessmen demands more vigilant patrolling
An incident of theft at a shop located in Shakti Nagar area has been reported today morning at Bhopalpura Police. Fortunately, no cash was lying in the shop but thieves took away two cameras and a few hardware tools after ransacking the shop.
An incident of theft at a shop located in Shakti Nagar area has been reported today morning at Bhopalpura Police. Fortunately, no cash was lying in the shop but thieves took away two cameras and a few hardware tools after ransacking the shop.
The theft occurred last night at Hind Electricals and Machinery owned by Nakshatra Talesra, who was shocked to see the upside down condition of the shop today morning.
According to C.I Madan Gehlot, the FIR has been registered against suspected thieves and till now two cameras (one digital), laser lights and some electronic items have been found missing, the cost of which is said to be around Rs.25-30K.
Gehlot said that thieves entered the shop by breaking the ventilation, which is towards Kasturba Mandir side.
A team of the forensic department also arrived to the scene and took foot prints, finger prints and details for further investigation.
The shop owner and other nearby businessmen demanded to have additional police patrolling in the area at night.
