A student was stabbed by another student on Saturday while he was on his return home after appearing for exams.

Manish s/o Ram Lal Dangi was returning home after appearing for half yearly examination in Lakadwas Senior Secondary School. As per the matter reported to police, Manish, studying in 12^th grade, was close to his school at 12:15 when this incident took place.

Hardly a short distance away from school, Manish saw Devendra Nagerchi and Pushkar engaged in an argument. Since Manish knew these two boys personally, he interfered trying to settle the fight between the two. Devendra Nagerchi s/o Laxmi Lal Nagerchi did not take this lightly and got more agitated. He pulled out a knife and attacked Manish Dangi.

Manish stepped back to escape the attack but succumbed to injuries on face as the knife slashed into his cheek and also cut his lip. There were some people standing nearby who rushed Manish to a private hospital nearby. Police has registered a case against Devendra.
