The Killer Son is still out of Police reach

Babulal Khatik, who allegedly killed his step mother Pushpa Devi Khatik yesterday on 15th July is still out of reach of the local police.

 
UPDATE 16 July, 9:00 PM: Babulal Khatik s/o Bherulal Khatik and the prime accused in the Khatikwada, (Hathipol) murder case was finally taken into Police custody today evening by the Dhanmandi Police in the Mahakaleshwar Temple premises, Ambamata Area. Babulal Khatik is accused for killing his step-mother on 15th July, 2012 with sword.  He is now placed under remand at the Dhanmandi Police Station.

“We are trying our best to catch the accused as soon as possible,” said Hari Prasad Sharma S.P (City) today addressing media personnel.

He also told that Babulal Khatik is a man of short temper and of a quarrelsome nature. He told reporters that after getting the news of the murder he himself and Additional SP Tejraj Singh reached the spot immediately and ordered the C.I. Dhanmandi to start the investigation.

An FIR against Babulal has already been lodged at the Dhanmandi Police station by his father Bherulal Khatik.

SP(City) also told that orders are given to check all the gangs as well as individuals who are involved in the Illegal Arms racket and under this agenda, the Hathipole Police Station already nabbed a gang who deals in Illegal Arms and an FIR has been registered against them. Similarly the same cases were registered at the Ambamata police station and Fateh Nagar also.

He added that the police is committed to control the crime in the city. History sheeters and Land Mafias who shelter the criminals are under strict police vigilance. He assured that Law and order should not be allowed to be disturbed at any cost.
