In what resembles a series of episodes of a regular soap opera the thefts in the city continue on a daily basis.

An FIR was lodged at Goverdhan Vilas Police Station at 7.30 pm today; where Swadheen Joshi, resident of Jai Shree Apartment, Hiran Magri, Sec-14 registered a case of theft in his apartment today.

The incident of theft came to notice when at around 4.45pm, the security guard of the apartment building found the lock of the main door of the apartment broken.  He informed Swadheen over phone and after reaching home; Swadheen called the police and registered the case around 7.45pm.

According to the police, per the FIR, gold earrings weighing 8 grams, a gold bracelet, a gold plated watch and Rs. 70,000 in cash were stolen.
