Theft at New Bhupalpura-2nd theft in one month
2nd theft at the same shop in New Bhupalpura
There has been an incident of theft at New Bhupalpura. This is the second case of theft at the same shop in one month.
Panasonic Service centre in New Bhupalpura reported a case of 2nd consecutive theft in the shop in one month. Till now, the thieves have stolen around 20 LED TVs from the shop. Himmat Lal Jeengar s/o Motilal Jeengar owns a Panasonic Service centre in Kelwa Rajsamand hall, Anand Nagar, Ayad. Earlier on 4th July, thieves stole some LED TVs and once again on 4th August(approximately one month) some more LED television sets have been stolen.
As per Himmat Lal, a total of 20 LED TV sets have been stolen in these 2 incidents of theft. Head Constable Prem Kumar said that someone entered the shop by breaking the channel gate and then the wooden door of the shop. The thieves probably came from backside through the route that leads to the forest. The unidentified thieves switched off the light and broke the CCTV camera of the shop. They took away 3 LED sets with them. The incident occurred on 4th August but has been reported late to the police.
Incidents of thefts are a constant happening, yet the police are not active in the area. The point of concern is that the thieves are constantly targeting one shop. Inspite of this fact, police is not staying alert. There have been more than a dozen thefts in the city, but no one has been arrested till now. Few days back, Galaxy World Mobile in Toran Bawdi was robbed twice. The robbers escaped with mobiles worth 7 lakh rupees. Even the modus operandi of the robbers is similar. Thieves/robbers are targeting only expensive stuff from the shops, as reported by the shopkeepers who are still waiting for the police to come up a positive result.
