In an incident of theft in a bag shop some time back, 3 female thieves have been arrested by Surajpole police. The 3 females belong to the snake-charmer community locally known as kalbeliyas.

On 8^th January, Kailash Babel had reported a theft in his bag shop. Kailash owns a bag shop in Surajpole. On the night of 7^th January, some people broke into his shop and stole school bags and travel bags. The thieves entered through a hole in the back wall of the shop which they made by removing bricks on that side.

CCTV footage was checked by police as per which thieves were females. Police force along with the women constables searched for these women who belonged to the community of snake charmers. These kalbeliya ladies Sonu, Tara and Saamu have been arrested by police and sent behind bars. All the stolen bags have been recovered from these females.
