2 grocery stores falling under Pratapnagar police station area were burgled on Tuesday night. The thieves also took the CCTV cameras of the area near the shops. 

During lockdown period, thefts have become quite easy and grocery stores are being burgled. On Tuesday night, products around 2 lakh rupees were stolen from 2 grocery stores.

Mahalaxmi Kirana Store and Bherunath Kirana Store at Debari-Pacific road became the targets of the thieves. 

Products worth 50 thousand rupees were stolen from Mahalaxmi Kirana Store and Bherunath Store suffered a loss of 1.50 lakh rupees. The products stolen comprise of rations, cosmetics among other things. Police inspected both the sites and cases have been registered against the unidentified thieves.
