In an alarming update, 16 Cabinet and State ministers of BJP received threat mails allegedly from Indian Mujahideen, a terrorist group recently.

Security agencies and police are working in conjunction to trace the mails and their authenticity. The mails were received by 10 Cabinet and 6 Ministers of State on 22nd Dec.

Though, according to a source, Anti Terror squad are inkling towards these being hoax as the language used in the mails is riddled with grammatical errors and do not have the usual Indian Mujahideen tone.

The threat in mails states a ‘big’ action on January 26 at many places. Rajasthan Police also reached out to Google and Interpol to trace the route and to confirm the verdict of this communication.

Gulabchand Kataria said that, “Mails are being traced and strong action will be taken against such elements. Security of the officials will be increased if necessary.”
