Today morning, a truck coming from Chittorgarh and going towards Ahmedabad hit two people travelling in front of it on a motorcycle. One of the injured is said to be critical and fighting for life.

The incident took place today morning at Pratapnagar crossroad. A truck coming from Chittorgarh hit the bikers while taking turn towards Ahmedabad. The pillion rider Dinesh Kumar (resident, Dhauji ki Badi) fell due to accident impact and the back tyres of the truck went over his legs. His legs were badly mutilated as a result of the truck going over.

The bike driver also sustained injuries but is safe. Dinesh, on the other hand, bled profusely when he was taken out from under the truck by the people standing nearby. He was immediately taken to the hospital in 108 ambulance.

Policemen from the nearby police station immediately rushed to the spot but the truck driver and his partner had run away by then. Police has taken the truck in their custody.
