Two people including the key accused of a minor girl's rape were arrested on Thursday 5 days after sheconsuming poisonous substance following the mental trauma.

The arrest was made after the parents of the victim girl lodged an FIR against five people for allegedly blackmailing her and raping on various occasions. The girl was so fed up with the threats of the accused that she ended her life by consuming poisonous substance.

Additional Sp Subash Mishra said that a 13 year old girl has committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance on 4th January and five days after her death her parents found some text messages and videos after they discovered that she was being gang raped by a group of accused and it was the mental trauma due to which she comitted suicide.Two of the five accused were arrested by the police on Thursday evening and the rest will be arrested soon.

On the other hand the MLA Dr. Suresh Dhakar also went at victim's house to meet her parents.He consoled them and also expressed concern about the incident.Apart from that Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) also handed over a memorandum to the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chotu Lal Sharma demanding strict action against the accused. While a police team was also constituted to arrest the absconding accused of the case.

It was on Wednesday when the parents of a 13 year old girl who had committed suicide five days back at a village of Chittorgarh district came to know that their girl has committed the act as she was gang raped and black mailed by the accused. They found few text messages and photos in the victim's mobile phone after which they lodged an FIR with police.

The police immediately swung in action and launched a man hunt to arrest the accused, said Mishra.
